Terms of Use

1. Purpose
These Terms of Use (hereinafter "ToU") define the conditions of access to and use of the SEEGEA service, published by the company PISKEE (hereinafter "the Publisher").
SEEGEA is a SaaS (Software as a Service) application that allows e-commerce merchants to manage their product catalog through a tabular interface with inline editing, connected to their CMS (Shopify, and soon WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento).
Registration and use of the Service imply full and complete acceptance of these ToU. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Definitions
- Service : the SEEGEA web application accessible at seegea.com and all associated features.
- User : any natural or legal person who creates an account and uses the Service.
- Account : the User's personal space, accessible through their login credentials.
- CMS : the e-commerce content management system connected to the Service (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.).
- Catalog : all products, collections, variants, and associated data managed through the Service.
3. Registration and Account
3.1 Account Creation
To use the Service, the User must create an account by providing accurate and up-to-date information (last name, first name, email address, password). Registration is reserved for adults acting within the scope of their professional activity.
3.2 Account Security
The User is responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any activity performed from their account is deemed to have been carried out by the User. In the event of unauthorized use, the User must immediately notify SEEGEA.
3.3 Single Session
For security reasons, only one active session is allowed per user account. Any new login automatically logs out previous sessions.
4. Description of the Service
4.1 Main Features
The Service allows the User to:
- Connect their e-commerce store via OAuth
- Import and synchronize their product catalog
- Edit products, variants, collections, and metafields through a tabular interface
- Push changes in real time to the CMS
- View modification history and revert to previous versions
- Manage product images and media
- Export their catalog in CSV format
4.2 Availability
The Publisher strives to ensure the Service is available 24/7. However, the Service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance operations, updates, or in the event of force majeure. The Publisher shall not be held liable for Service interruptions.
4.3 Service Modifications
The Publisher reserves the right to evolve the Service, add or remove features. In the event of a substantial modification affecting the User, they will be notified by email with reasonable notice.
5. User Obligations
The User agrees to:
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Not use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of these ToU
- Not attempt to compromise the security or proper functioning of the Service
- Not resell, sublicense, or make the Service available to third parties
- Comply with the terms of use of the connected CMS (e.g., Shopify ToS)
- Verify the accuracy of data before pushing it to the CMS (changes are immediate and published in real time)
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its interface, source code, databases, documentation, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of PISKEE. The User is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-assignable right of use, limited to the duration of their subscription.
Imported catalog data remains the exclusive property of the User. SEEGEA does not acquire any rights over such data.
7. Personal Data
The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, the User acknowledges having read this policy.
8. Liability
8.1 Publisher's Liability
The Publisher implements reasonable means to ensure the proper functioning of the Service. Its liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damages, up to the amount of sums paid by the User during the preceding 12 months.
The Publisher shall not be held liable for:
- Interruptions or malfunctions of the connected CMS (Shopify, etc.)
- Data errors resulting from User actions
- Consequences of publishing incorrect data on the CMS
- Indirect damages (loss of revenue, loss of data, etc.)
8.2 User's Liability
The User is solely responsible for their use of the Service and the modifications they make to their catalog. It is recommended to verify data before each synchronization, as changes are immediate and published in real time.
9. Suspension and Termination
9.1 By the User
The User may terminate their account at any time from their account settings. Termination takes effect at the end of the current subscription period.
9.2 By the Publisher
The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in the event of a breach of these ToU, non-payment, or fraudulent behavior. The User will be notified by email before any suspension, except in cases of emergency.
9.3 Consequences of Termination
Upon termination, the User retains read-only access to their account for 30 days to export their data. After this period, data is deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.
10. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for failure to fulfill its obligations resulting from a case of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, telecommunications or energy failures, cyberattacks.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These ToU are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall endeavor to reach an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts of Compiegne shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Modifications to the ToU
The Publisher reserves the right to modify these ToU. Users will be notified by email at least 30 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the Service after this date constitutes acceptance of the new ToU.
