Product features table: structure + examples

The product features table is the element that turns a skeptical browser into a confident buyer. It is also the element most often done poorly — with inconsistent units, missing values and formatting that breaks on mobile.

The product features table answers the question every buyer asks but rarely types: "Does this product actually fit my situation?" Dimensions, compatibility, certifications, care requirements — the table decides the purchase for the analytical buyer who needs numbers, not poetry.

The standard features table structure by industry

Fashion features table

Material (% breakdown), care (machine/hand wash, temp), country of origin, fit (slim/regular/loose), available sizes, closure type, pockets (count + depth). Units: cm for measurements, Celsius for wash temp.

Tech features table

Dimensions (W x H x D in mm), weight (g), input/output (ports + standards), power (watts), compatibility (OS versions, device list), certifications (CE, RoHS, MFi, IP rating), warranty (months).

Home features table

Dimensions assembled (W x D x H), dimensions packed, weight, material (with finish), max load (kg), assembly required (yes/no), pieces in box. Provide both metric and imperial for cross-border traffic.

Put the features table between the benefits bullets and the care/use section — after you have built desire, before you answer the final objections. The buyer should arrive at the table already interested, using it to confirm rather than to discover.

Generating features tables automatically with Seegea

Seegea maps product attributes to a features table schema defined per product type. When a new product is created or an attribute is updated, the table regenerates automatically. No manual table editing. No formatting inconsistencies. No missing rows.

For the tech industry, Seegea also validates unit consistency across the catalog: if one product uses "g" for weight and another uses "kg", the system flags the inconsistency before publishing. Built in France between Annecy and Chantilly, we help you configure your table schema on the first onboarding session.
