Custom product attributes extend the standard product record with domain-specific data: material composition, energy rating, compatibility notes, care instructions, certifications, HS code, size guide URL. Attributes for SEO

Material, country of origin, dimensions and certifications help Google understand product type. Include the most search-relevant attributes in on-page content (a spec table) and in Product schema JSON-LD. Seegea generates both from your metafields.

In Shopify, custom attributes are implemented as metafields. A metafield has a namespace (custom or a defined one), a key (e.g. care_instructions), a type (text, number, URL, etc.) and a value. Metafields can be defined at product, variant or collection level.
